I was particularly impressed (apart from Bhutan itself - of course!) by our tour guide in Bhutan, who was very friendly and accommodating and played a big part in making it a really nice vacation. Everything else (accommodation, food, transportation, program) fully met my expectations. For us it was a wonderful experience and great joy to travel through the land of guaranteed happiness. We experienced the days in Bhutan as an all-round impressive time with diverse experiences in nature, with the people, their everyday life and living traditions in cities and villages and in the monasteries with religious encounters and insights into the living Buddhism of Bhutan and its evidence in the monasteries, temples and dzongs. Above all, the excellent support from you, Gasey, Ngawang and the careful bus driver made this trip an experience that leaves lasting memories with us. The stay in Bhutan exceeded all expectations. Chamäleon organized a first-class program and the support from our tour guide Ngawang, the bus driver Pema and the manager of the Bhutanese partner agency Red Lion Travel Gasey left nothing to be desired. The choice of hotels and meals were good to very good. The picnic lunches served in beautiful locations were always particularly enjoyable. The commitment of our tour guide, or rather Bhutanese friends, was rated as exemplary by the entire tour group - we were able to experience small and large “magic moments” every day. The trip was perfectly organized. Both in Nepal and in Bhutan, our guides were very helpful and friendly and always there for us. We felt we were in good hands with them. For us it was a very nice and impressive journey with many impressions and nice encounters.

The entire process of the Bhutan trip went like clockwork, from flights to accommodation to all activities.

Our Bhutan trip was excellently planned in conjunction with the Bhutanese tour operator Red Lion. Several very individual wishes were taken into account in the itinerary and we had an excellent guide on site. Instead of staying in hotels, we mainly chose homestays with Bhutanese families and thus repeatedly made impressive contacts with the locals. So the time in Bhutan was one of the most impressive trips we have experienced. Free educational opportunities, free health services and a way of life in harmony with the environment and nature - we can learn a lot from the people of Bhutan.

Our guide Pema spoke German very well and had a high level of general knowledge. This enabled us to learn a lot about the country and people of Bhutan. At this point we would like to say a special thank you to Bhutan Red Lion Travel, Mr. Gasey Lhendup, for the perfect organization on site. The farewell evening in Paro with the traditional farewell gift will not be forgotten. With our guide Pema and our chauffeur Tashi, we had two experienced, prudent and courteous people at our side.
